Modbling started the way most useful things do: with a complaint. Hosiery that runs on the first wear. Socks that slide down inside a boot. Underwear that shows a seam through everything you own. We were tired of paying for the label and getting the same thin fabric.
So we went to the factories instead of the middlemen. Modbling designs and packs its own hosiery, socks and underwear — the same mills that supply brands charging three times as much, without the three-times markup.
What that means for you
- Real denier. When we say 40D, it measures 40D. Denier claims are the most common lie in this category and we do not tell it.
- Reinforced where it matters. Toes, heels and waistbands get the extra construction, because that is where cheap hosiery fails first.
- Sizes that include people. XS through 4XL on most styles. Plus sizes are graded properly, not just stretched from a small pattern.
- Honest shipping times. We ship from China, which is why our prices work. That also means 7–15 days to the US, and we say so up front instead of pretending otherwise.
